Crystallized Shells. These are 100 million year old shells that have grown crystals inside the shell. Ethically hand mined supporting local miners in the area.
These shells have the unusual let hand coiling which is a rarity in the domain of shells. They are filled with quartz making them a desirable gem that threads boundary between fossil and crystal.
Found in central India in what was once the sea of Tethys, these geodes are carefully extracted by hand. Less that 5% of them have the druzy formation.
Historically left and coining shells have been associated with great metaphysical powers in the Hindu, Buddhist and Tibetan cultures. In ancient Sanskrit these shells were associated with Vishnu, the preserver and protector.
